Move the cursor where you want the copied content to appear, then press Ctrl + V (on Windows) or Command + V (on Mac) to paste it. Ctrl-V was not pasting the code I had just Cut or Copied (but right-clicking and choosing Paste was working). Randomly the copy/paste stops working - the symtom I have noticed is that it pastes NULL. My Ctrl-V issue was when I was trying to correct my Apex code in the EDITOR pane.
